Dr. Richard J. Confair, J.D. is a retired Medical Malpractice Litigation Attorney and Professor of Law Emeritus, having taught at Wilkes University and Hahnemann Medical School. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Delaware Law School, where he also served as Editor-in-Chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. In addition to a prolific academic and legal career, Dr. Confair has worked as a Litigation Consultant with Legal Logistics Consultants, authored numerous legal articles, and is the author of ASKED & ANSWERED.
Outside of law, he is a former columnist for the Sunday Independent newspaper (“Legally Speaking”), a retired member of the United States Equestrian Team, and an amateur boxer. As a Professional Speaker and Addictions Counselor, Dr. Confair frequently lectures on addiction recovery and serves as a dedicated voice in Alcoholics Anonymous communities.
